Alka-Seltzer Gold provides relief for acid indigestion, heartburn and sour stomach for adults and children 12 years and older. Alka-Seltzer Gold is an over the counter medication used to provide relief for acid indigestion, heartburn and sour stomach for adults and children 12 years and older. 

It is a single product containing 3 medications: potassium bicarbonate, anhydrous citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate. These medications belong to a group of drugs called antacids These work by neutralizing stomach acid.

This medication comes in  tablets and is dissolved in 4 ounces of water every 4 hours as needed.

Common side effects of Alka-Seltzer Gold include belching, and nausea.
