George R. Nissan, D.O.

Dr. Nissan graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University, followed by an internal medicine residency at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas where he was chief resident from 2001-2002. He practiced at Chicago's Diamond Headache Clinic from 2003-2011, serving as co-director from 2008-2011. Dr. Nissan has held academic positions at Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois from 2005-2011 and at Loyola University College of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois from 2009-2011.

Currently, he is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Nissan's interests include migraine, menstrual migraine, cluster headache, chronic daily headache, trigeminal autonomic cephalgias (TAC's) and trigeminal neuralgia.
