FiberCon is an over the counter medication used to treat both constipation and diarrhea. FiberCon belongs to a group of drugs called Fiber Supplement and Bulk-Forming Laxatives. These work by providing normal level of moisture in the intestines and allow the stools to be bulkier. 

This medication comes in a tablet form and is usually taken 1 to 4 times daily with a full glass of water. 

Common side effects of FiberCon include abdominal pain and abdominal fullness.
