11 Hottest Cities in America
Texas has four cities in the top 11 hottest cities in America, and Dallas comes in as the hottest in the state. Dallas broke a record in 2011 with 70 days of temperatures above 100 degrees, although the annual average of days with extreme heat is usually around 17. Be sure you know signs of heat illnesses, and stay in contact with elderly or disabled neighbors in your area who may need assistance during the summer months.
