CariDee English won the title of America’s Next Top Model in 2006, but you may not know the model was diagnosed with psoriasis as a young girl. Many patients develop psoriasis between ages 15 and 30, but English was only 5-years-old when she noticed what seemed to be a bug bite on her skin. Despite her condition, English was determined to pursue her dream of becoming a model and met with many dermatologists to devise an effective treatment plan. In 2007, English became a spokesperson for the National Psoriasis Foundation.
