Clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide is a prescription medication used to treat acne in patients 12 and older.

Clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide comes as a gel to be applied to the affected skin once daily or twice daily (morning and evening) depending on which brand you are using. 

Common side effects of clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide include skin irritation, burning sensation, itching, and rash.
