Pindolol is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. Pindolol belongs to a group of drugs called beta-blockers. These work by relaxing blood vessels and decreasing the heart rate to improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. 

This medication comes as a tablet to take by mouth and is usually taken 2 times a day. 

Common side effects of pindolol include difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, tiredness, and muscle pain. Pindolol can also cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how pindolol affects you.
