Reyvow is a prescription medication used to treat migraine symtpoms. Reyvow does not prevent migraine attacks or reduce the number of headaches you have.

Reyvow belongs to a group of medications called serotonin 5-HT1F receptor agonists (ditans). The exact way Reyvow works is not known. It is thought to work by stopping pain signals from being sent to the brain and stopping inflammation of the nerves that cause symptoms of migraine.

This medication comes in tablet form. It is taken by mouth, with or without food, at the first sign of a migraine headache. Do not take more than one dose of Reyvow in 24 hours.

Common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness, numbness, feeling tired, and tingling. Do not drive or operate machinery until at least 8 hours after you take Reyvow, even if you feel well enough. Do not drink alcohol or take other medicines that make you drowsy while taking Reyvow.
