6 Tips for Managing Multiple Sclerosis
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of MS, affecting about 80 percent of patients. While fatigue may occur for any number of reasons, one possible remedy is to get plenty of rest. Since fatigue can be the result of another condition, such as depression or anemia (low levels of healthy red blood cells), or may happen as a side effect of medication, MS patients should see a doctor if fatigue continues to be a problem. A doctor can help identify what might be at the root of fatigue and figure out what steps to take to address an individual patient’s needs.
