All About Breast Cancer
Any cancer diagnosis can lead to stress for both the patient and for their loved ones, but there are steps you can take to manage this stress. The first step is to do your research and learn about your options. Your doctor will likely want to schedule follow-up tests and appointments, so make sure you make these a priority. Taking care of yourself in other ways should also be a priority — so make sure to eat a healthy diet, exercise at least 30 minutes a day and get enough sleep. Finally, accept help from your family and friends. You can also join support groups online or in-person to talk with others who are currently fighting or have survived breast cancer.
