The Best Things You Can Do for Your Heart
Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages worldwide and, aside from waking you up, the caffeine in a cup of coffee may also increase blood flow by improving blood vessel function. It opens up blood vessels and may decrease inflammation. Recent research also suggests that drinking coffee regularly (and in moderation) can help your heart by decreasing the risk of coronary calcium in your arteries. Coronary calcium can clog arteries and lead to heart attacks and strokes.
