Randy Jackson, television star from the hit show American Idol, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2003 after feeling like he had a bad case of the flu. Blood tests confirmed Jackson’s diagnosis and since then, he has become a spokesperson for those with type 2 diabetes.
