Vision Problems in MS

Mild vision problems are common in people with MS but only rarely result in total blindness. The vision-related symptoms of MS may be the result of optic neuritis — inflammation of the optic nerve or damaged areas along the nerves that control eye movement. Some people with MS may experience uncontrollable eye movements and double vision.
