Coping with Spring Allergies
To control your allergies, you need to avoid their triggers. You can check the daily pollen count — whether the pollen count is low, acceptable or hazardous — on many websites. When the pollen count is high, it’s a good idea to stay inside. if you must go outside, wear an allergy mask. When you’re inside, keep the windows closed. You may also find relief from nasal rinsing (with a saline nasal spray or sterile saline administered through a neti pot) to get the pollen or other allergens out of your nasal passages. Speak to your doctor before beginning any home remedy.
