The body can get dehydrated, but so can the skin. Applying moisturizer regularly and drinking plenty of water can help limit dehydration and trap moisture in the skin. Staying hydrated can also help the skin maintain elasticity, and prevent the skin from becoming irritated, itchy or inflamed.
