The Dangers of Dehydration

Heat Injury

It may be easy to forget to drink water during a workout, but hydration is very important during exercise — especially if it’s done in the sun. When the body is dehydrated, a heat injury — such as heat cramps, heat exhaustion or even stroke — can occur. Be sure to take a water bottle or Gatorade when heading to work out, especially if heading outdoors.
