Eliminate the Pain of Raking Leaves
It may not seem like a workout but, according to CPSC, you can burn nearly 300 calories during an hour of raking! Consider doing some form of light exercise for about ten minutes to warm up your muscles before raking. Start slowly and pace yourself. Raking is an aerobic activity, so remember: it’s not a sprint. If you don’t finish today, you can always finish up tomorrow.
