Even These Athletes Battle Mental Health Issues
Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest) is an NBA player who currently plays for the New York Knicks. Artest has revealed that he spoke with eight different psychologists over the course of 20 years. He has never been diagnosed with a disorder but has been prescribed antidepressants in the past.
