Factors that Might Boost MS Risk
Obesity plays a role in many health issues, and MS might be one of them. A recent study compared the BMI of participants and found that individuals who were obese at the age of 20 were twice as likely to develop MS later in life. While the exact connection is unclear, it suggests yet another reason to eat healthy food and be physically active.
