Germiest Places You Forget to Clean
Pet bowls and toys also made NSF International’s list of germiest places. Keep your family and furry friends healthy by washing pet bowls daily, either in the sanitizing dishwasher cycle or by hand each week. If hand washing, clean with a cap of bleach plus a gallon of water. To wash pet toys, either put soft toys in the sanitizing wash cycle or hand wash hard toys with hot soapy water and the same mild bleach solution. Make sure to rinse thoroughly.
