How The Flu Can Complicate Your Health
Due to the condition’s effect on the immune response, people with rheumatoid arthritis and other types of inflammatory arthritis are at a greater risk of complications from the flu. Some arthritis medications may also weaken the immune system and increase the risk of infection and pneumonia.
