According to the APA, changing your diet for the better before pregnancy can increase your chances of having a healthy baby. Getting lots of vitamins and folic acid in your diet is also a good idea. Try to maintain an ideal weight for your body and talk to your doctor if you have concerns about possible conditions that could affect your nutrition.
