How to Get Your Body Ready for Baby
While most women stop using alcohol, tobacco and drugs after learning that they are pregnant, stopping the use of these dangerous substances before conception can decrease the risk for birth defects during the first few weeks of fetal development. The Utah Department of Health also recommends that all women stop using tobacco products prior to conception to ensure a safer pregnancy.
