How Sex Affects Your Health

Sex and Cancer Risk

A study found that men who ejaculated 21+ times a month had 1/4 the risk of developing prostate cancer compared those who ejaculated 4-7 times. Another study found that women who consistently had sex over 20 years had 1/10 the risk of breast cancer. It is important to practice safe sex, however, as some STDs like HPV and HIV have been shown to impact the risk of cancer in both men and women.
