Stress management is a key strategy to help prevent flare-ups in conditions like MS and psoriasis. It might seem almost intuitive that intimate behavior helps relieve stress after a long day, but one study suggests that these benefits may even extend into the future. Participants who had sex more often showed better stress biomarkers during stressful situations than those who abstained from sex.
