How Sex Affects Your Health
Urinary Tract Infections are irritating and often painful infections of the urinary system caused by bacteria. New sexual partners, frequent sex, use of birth control pills and even a reaction to some contraceptives such as spermicides can all impact the risk of UTIs. While the infection is relatively common in women, it still warrants a trip to the doctor to receive proper antibiotic treatment.
