Managing ADHD with Medication
Now that you’ve done your homework, write down some questions to ask your doctor. It’s important to discuss both the pros and cons of different medications, and any additional recommendations your doctor may have. Don’t be afraid to ask if you or your child’s symptoms could be managed without medication as well. It’s also important to ask about the potential side effects of a medication and how long until benefits are seen.
