Managing ADHD with Medication
Before your child starts his/her ADHD medication, make sure they understand how to take it properly and why following prescription guidelines is so important. Many kids and teens don’t take their ADHD medications properly or stop taking them abruptly without discussing it with their parents or doctor, so encourage your child to come to you first with any concerns they may have. That way, you can work together to figure out what the best treatment option will be.
