Meat-Free Protein Sources
Beans have long been considered a source of protein for non-meat eaters — and for good reason, too. At the top of a long list of beans are soybeans, a nutrient and protein-rich legume that doubles as a heart healthy staple. Green soybeans are commonly boiled in their pods and served lightly-salted.
