NBA Stars Who Give Back
Steve Nash formed the Steve Nash Foundation in 2001 with the goal of providing grants to various nonprofits and charitable efforts. Among his organization’s accomplishments, Nash used his own endorsement money combined with funds from his foundation to pay for a pediatric cardiology ward for a hospital in Paraguay. Nash also has spent a great deal of effort helping Chinese children affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty and poor education through the Chi Heng Foundation, the China Youth Development Foundation and the Yao Ming Foundation.
