Signs You're Sleep Deprived

You’re a Little Clumsy

Sleep deprivation can produce impairments in cognitive and motor performance equal to being intoxicated, according to a study in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. 17 to 19 hours without sleep can reduce the body’s response time and accuracy by up to 50% — similar to the response time and accuracy of a person with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .05 percent. While daily sleep deprivation may not mean you’ve gone 17 hours without sleep, it’s important to get enough sleep to stay alert and focused.
