Swimmer’s Ear Treatment and Prevention
According to Sancack Yuksel, MD, an otolaryngologist at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, there is a lack of data on why some people are more prone to swimmer’s ear than others. There are no known risk factors for swimmer’s ear, although people with narrow ear canals may be more susceptible.
