Time for Change - 8 Fall Tips
The cooler weather means it’s time to tune-up your furnace. Fireplaces and space heaters start to get plenty of use as people try to keep warm. Let autumn be a good reminder to service your furnace. A specialist can inspect your heater to make sure there are no leaks and that everything is in working order. Also use space heaters with care. You should thoroughly read the instructions before use. If your space heater requires venting, make sure you have the exhaust vented to the outdoors and always allow at least three feet of empty area around a working space heater. When using a fireplace, make sure you place a screen in front of the flames to keep sparks from flying. Never leave a burning fire unattended, and make sure the fire is completely out before going to bed.
