Time for Change - 8 Fall Tips

Safety Tips for Fall Driving

Falling leaves, wet pavement, bright morning sunlight and children playing outside after school can all make autumn driving a little trickier. Make sure you take extra steps to be aware of reduced visibility. Slow down if you can't see well. Use dimmed headlights in bad weather and extra caution if leaves are piled high by the curb. Pay attention to any school buses driving by, and, if it's raining, keep a safe distance from the car in front of you. Stopping takes longer on wet roads, and wet leaves only make it harder to get good tire traction.
