Tips for a Healthy Fall
As the weather gets colder, it’s time to drag out the space heaters and flip on furnaces. But before you turn on your furnace for the long haul, call a specialist to check it out. Make sure there are no leaks and everything is up to date. It’s also important to read the instructions on any space heaters you use and remember to unplug after use. According to the National Fire Protection Association, about 33 percent of home-heating fires were caused by space heaters in recent years.
