Tips for Living with Type 2 Diabetes
Your doctor will likely prescribe some medications after you’re diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. There are many different types of diabetes medications that work in different ways to keep your blood glucose in your target range. Make sure you talk to your doctor or pharmacist about what supplies you’ll need for your medications, where you can find them and how to store them. It may help to keep a chart near your medications, listing when you take which medicine. Always take your medications as directed by your doctor. Also, keep the side effects of these medications in mind. Talk to your pharmacist about what to expect while you’re taking your new medications.
