Travel Vaccination FAQ

Journeying through Australia

Being a relatively similar country to the US, Australia doesn’t require much in the way of vaccination. As with most intercontinental travel, however, your routine vaccinations need to be up-to-date. It’s also important to make sure your measles, mumps, rubella and tetanus shots are all recent. For some travelers, hepatitis A and B vaccination could be necessary, along with Japanese encephalitis. Talk to your pharmacist and doctor about your travel schedule to find out what additional vaccines you may need.
