Travel Vaccination FAQ
Asia is a diverse continent that boasts both bustling cities and stunning natural views. Because of this variation, there are multiple vaccines that are needed before traveling to a number of Asian countries. Make sure your routine vaccinations are up-to-date, including a recent tetanus shot. On top of routine vaccinations, some countries require travelers be vaccinated for hepatitis A, typhoid (disease spread by contaminated food and water), rabies and Japanese encephalitis (disease spread through mosquito bites). You may also want to consider taking anti-malaria pills depending on the countries you plan to visit. Talk to your pharmacist and doctor about the best steps to take before traveling to Asia.
