The Truth About Supplements
While fish oil supplements boast healthy omega-3 fatty acids, multiple studies have conflicting findings about the supplement. A recent study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute found a link between high levels of fatty acids and prostate cancer in men. However, other studies have found that these same fatty acids may help brain function, and growth and development. This may mean there is a fine line between the right amount and too much. So it’s important to talk to your doctor and pharmacist before you add fish oil supplements into your daily routine.
