Warning Signs of Lung Disease

Wheezing

Noisy breathing — where the lungs make a high-pitched whistling sound during breathing, most often during exhalation — could indicate that something is blocking the airways or making them too narrow. The cause of wheezing may be allergies bronchitis, asthma or infections, but this may also signal emphysema or lung cancer.

If you wheeze when you breathe, consult your doctor.
