Not all nail abnormalities are a sign of a serious problem. White spots on your nails aren’t actually a sign of a calcium or zinc deficiency, but merely of an impact to the nail. But keeping an eye on any changes in your nails may help you to spot a problem before it becomes severe, so talk to your doctor about any changes you see.
