What Questions Should I Ask My Doctor?
Understanding your treatment options is an important part of understanding your diagnosis. Don’t be shy — ask as many questions as you need to understand how your condition can be treated. Ask your doctor what treatment is most common for your condition and what that treatment entails. Talk to your doctor about the pros and cons of your options. You should also ask whether there is anything you should avoid during treatment. Finally, don’t feel obligated to just one doctor — if you’d like a second opinion, get one!
