Some Wines May Be Better than Others

There are many different types of wines, so how do you know which ones have the most benefits? Generally, sweeter wines may have fewer health-improving flavonoids. Stick with dry, red wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignons. These wines have been found to contain the highest amount of flavonoids, followed by Petit Syrah and Pinot Noir. Merlots and Red Zinfandels are lower in flavonoids, as well as all varieties of white wines.
