Wine May Lower Ovarian Cancer Risk

One study from Australia found that women who drank wine — specifically red wine — had a lower risk for ovarian cancer than those who did not drink red wine. The researchers found that one drink per week lowered the ovarian cancer risk by 20 percent, and two drinks per week lowered the risk by 50 percent.
