Wine May Reduce Lung Cancer Risk

A California Men’s Health study found that one or more glasses of red wine per day was linked to a 60 percent reduced risk of lung cancer in men with a history of smoking. This study also found that, for heavy smokers (men who smoked the equivalent of a pack a day for 20 years), there was a slightly more positive relationship between red wine and lung cancer risk.
