Worst Cities for Spring Allergies
Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama, with a population around 212,000. It is also consistently one of the worst cities in America for those affected by seasonal allergies. Allergies are generally unpleasant, but there may be one benefit for those with hay fever: several studies have found an association between having allergies and a decreased risk of colorectal, pancreatic and skin cancer.
