Worst Cities for Spring Allergies

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was the 9th worst city on the AAFA’s index. From a statistical perspective, rates of depression, anxiety and sleep issues are higher in patients with hay fever than the general population. While the connection isn’t completely understood, there is even some preliminary data suggesting that spring peaks in suicide are associated with peaks in pollen count.
