Your Office May Be More Dangerous than You Think
Do you ever find yourself sneaking into the kitchen for some midday snacks? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), many people begin snacking when they feel stressed or tired — common situations in an office. One study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that those who ate more than three times a day were more likely to be overweight, which can put you at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke and many other health problems. So make sure that, when you eat at work, you eat because you’re hungry and not bored.
