Germiest Places You Forget to Clean

In 2011, NSF International conducted a germ study that found toothbrush holders to be the third germiest place in the home. Toothbrush holders carried more germs than other places in the bathroom, including faucet handles and light switches. Once a week, consider running the holder through a high-heat dishwasher cycle or hand wash with hot water and soap, then wipe down with a disinfecting wipe.
